OYO’s updated Master Baseball Checklist

OYO has updated it’s Master Baseball Checklist for the forthcoming 2019 season!

We hope that these have provided to be a good resource for fans, who “got it” or “need it”!

Many new players have been added for the first time. These rookie “First Edition” OYO minifigures are sequentially numbered representing the first production run for the player. See the checklist of just those players here –MLB OYO First Edition Checklist

Many players changed teams this off-season including Bryce Harper, Manny Machado, JT Realmuto, Adam Ottavino, James Paxton, Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz…. it is a big list.

Some of those changing teams created very short run versions, like the 10 copies of JT Realmuto made for the Marlins, the day before he was finally traded (see earlier post), Jean Segura #9 and a Don Mattingly Home Uniform we made a mistake on and that one of our Instagram fans caught this week.

These checklists are able to be downloaded and printed. We hope that you can find your favorites, and if you have any questions, or are looking for an elusive minifigure, please let us know.  We have matched up collectors to other collectors, as well as to some of our “vintage” OYO retailers who have some of these out of print minifigures available.  Thank you for your support!

Happy Hunting!

Checklist explantions:
Our item numbers have evolved somewhat to include P (product)-XXX(league)YYY(team)##(uniform #)TT(a particular version of fig)-G#(Generation number)AA(Product type- LE=Limited Edition minifigure, GT=GableTop minifigure -peggable pack for mass markets, PS=Play Sets, FB – for Field Box (or field set) as examples
UPC code – each has a unique UPC code on the box
Series – the first minifigure for a player on a team is series 1, It is based on minifigures for a team, so a player can have multiple #1s for a series if they are on different teams
First Edition – new in 2018, we started making a First Edition minifigure version of a player’s minifigure for the very first minifigure EVER made of a player – his rookie minifigure- and we sequentially number each minifigure produced in the first production run.
Generation – when we change the packaging look, and accessories included with the figures, we have created a new Generation for the sport. Currently we have had 5 Generations of baseball minifigures as an example.

Super excited to see the Babe and Mike Schmidt made this year. I was even more excited to see a checklist that previews upcoming mini-figures. I hope this continues and is done for football and basketball.

You mention to let you know if there are mini figures we are looking for that you may be able to “connect” with others. I know it is a long shot, but in my quest to collect the greatest baseball players ever; if there is a chance to get these 4 players I would love to see what you could do. Here are the 4 players I missed out on:

    HOF Gregg Maddux (Braves)
    HOF Pedro Martinez (Red Sox)
    HOF Yogi Berra (Yankees)
    HOF Ken Griffey Jr (Mariners)

Thanks for all you are doing and please, let’s see some more HOF Baseball players before the end of 2019 besides the ones coming out within the month.

Thank you for your interest. We do have plans to update the other checklists continually as well!
We are making new HOF players for the forthcoming season, and not all of them are exclusive to the HOF. Still to come a little later this spring- Reggie Jackson, Vladimir Guerrero and Rod Carew on the Angels, Dennis Eckersley on the RedSox, Tom Glavine, Jim Palmer, Barry Larkin a new Craig Biggio, and Rod Carew on the Twins.

Most of the ones you are seeking were HOF exclusives, so we will have to count on this collector community to come up with these 4 that you are seeking. There have been a few Yogi Berra’s for sale on EBay from time to time. Any collectors out there looking to sell or trade any of these 4?
      Thanks again for your support!
