Phillies re-invent everything for 2019

Hello OYO Fans,

The Philadephia Phillies are on a tear for sure as they seek to own the NL East for 2019.

First an updated logo, and the addition of the new alternate jersey, which is a true throwback to the 80s with the Maroon and Blue look fans love.  OYO updated all of the sets and packaging to reflect the refreshed logo and created new minifigures for the “new” uniforms.

Then, starting in December they re-worked their roster, adding many new stars – Jean Segura, Andrew McCutchen, JT Realmuto, and last week Bryce Harper! With Big Fella Rhys Hoskins, All Star Pitchers Aaron Nola and Jake Arrieta already on the team with Mikael Franco, Nick Williams and more… this is a formidable team!

OYO is completely updated with the Phils – and even zig and zagged on Jean Segura who came in as #9 and changed to #2, creating a very limited run of less than 25 of his #9 minifigures in both versions. JT Realmuto’s trade to the Phils also created a rare version of his minifigure, as we had just given up on a trade from the Marlins, and had made 10 of JT’s Marlins minifigure as a small test run. Murphy’s law took over – and we like to think that this small test run created the trade – and the Phils acquired him.  We also updated Rhys Hoskins’ minifigure noting his move to First Base!

Coming later this spring, as exclusive editions for the Baseball Hall of Fame, new minifigures for Roy Halladay to honor his Induction in the 2019 HOF Class, and our very first Mike Schmidt minifigure!

Lots to love in the City of Brotherly Love!

Happy Hunting!

The Segura Looks fantastic! The only mistake it seems is that Segura is right handed but appears left handed on the box. Looks great otherwise!
