Rookie OYOs get the First Edition treatment!

The first time we produce a collegiate or pro-version of a minifigure for a player, that first print run will be specially handled.

This “First Edition” minifigure will be sequentially numbered, to the entire first production run made for that player. This will be only for the first print of that player, on their rookie minifigure. The numbering will depend on the size of the demand anticipated which sets the first production run, and will vary between the players.  These will be shipped out to the early orders, to both retailers and consumers, at random. These are not offered independently and we don’t guarantee orders will receive a first edition minifigure- it should be considered a nice bonus for those who are lucky enough to get one.

Subsequent print runs will be available without numbering like traditional OYO minifigures.

Our “first” First Edition minifigure was made of the Angels Shohei Ohtani, and his first Pitcher and DH minifigure – each numbered to 250 of each.

Since then we have issued the following MLB players:

Cardinals  -Jose Martinez

White Sox  -Michael Kopech, Tim Anderson

Twins  -Eddie Rosario

Nationals – Juan Soto

Braves -Ronald Acuna

Reds – Jose Peraza, Eugenio Suarez, and Jesse Winker

Rockies – Kyle Freeland and German Marquez

Dodgers – Walker Buehler

Brewers – Josh Hader

NHL- 2 special NHL players were made as First Edition players exclusively for the Arena this year:

Panthers Aleksander Barkov Jr, and Vincent Trochek

Our Master Checklists will be updated with the numbering of these as they release. Happy Hunting!
